Account and billing

Your Formsieve account at https://formsieve.com/account/ holds your key, your plan, your sites and usage, and your invoices. You sign in with your e-mail address and a 6-digit code; there is no password. Facts on this page are as of 2026-09-26.

Trial

Start at https://formsieve.com/start/: 14 days or 500 AI checks, whichever comes first, no card. One trial per e-mail address and per site. We e-mail you three days before the end and when it ends. Nothing is charged when it ends: your key moves to the Free plan, 100 AI checks a month for one production site (as of 2026-09-27). AI checks pause when those are used, and your forms keep working with the free local checks.

Choose a plan at https://formsieve.com/pricing/ or in your account. Payment happens on Stripe's secure checkout; prices are in US dollars and tax is added where it applies. If you subscribe during the trial, the trial key becomes your paid key, so there is nothing to change on your sites. The AI checks your trial used in that month do not count against the paid plan's allowance. If you subscribe from the Free plan, that month's Free AI checks do count toward the paid plan's month (as of 2026-09-29).

Subscriptions renew automatically. Annual plans get a reminder e-mail 30 days before each renewal; monthly plans a yearly reminder.

Change plan

In your account under Plan and billing:

Upgrades (a bigger plan, or monthly to annual) apply at once. You pay the prorated difference now, the new allowance applies straight away, and the count of months over the allowance starts again.
Downgrades apply at the end of the period you paid for. If the new plan has fewer sites than you use, the account asks which sites to keep.

Invoices, card and VAT numbers

Plan and billing lists your invoices (PDF) and opens Stripe's billing portal, where you can update the card and billing details and add a tax ID such as an EU VAT number. When a payment fails, Stripe retries it for up to two weeks and e-mails you a link to update the card; the AI checks keep running meanwhile. After the last retry the subscription ends and the key lapses. Subscribing again within 90 days brings back the same key and sites.

Cancel

Cancel at any time:

in your account (Cancel subscription), or
without signing in at https://formsieve.com/cancel/, with your e-mail address and your key or an invoice number.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you paid for: the key keeps working until then, and nothing more is charged. We confirm by e-mail with the end date. Until that date you can resume the subscription in your account.

Withdraw and refunds

The refund terms proposed for launch (spec D7; the published refund policy is the binding text):

First payment of a plan: full refund within 30 days, on request, no questions asked. Ask at https://formsieve.com/withdraw/ or in your account; during the 14-day withdrawal period, customers in the EU, the EEA and the UK see Withdraw from contract in the account menu and Withdraw from contract here under Plan and billing (as of 2026-09-26). With your key, the refund is made at once; with an invoice number, we first e-mail the account a link to confirm, and your request counts from the moment you sent it.
Annual renewals: full refund within 14 days of the renewal charge.
Monthly renewals: no refund, except where the law requires one.

A refund, a withdrawal or a lost payment dispute ends the subscription and revokes the key at once. Customers in the EU, the EEA and the UK have a legal right to withdraw within 14 days; the 30-day refund covers it.

Delete your account

Under Privacy in your account you see the agreements and records we keep (your consents, cancellations and withdrawals) and can delete the account. Cancel any running subscription first; the key stops working at once. Invoices and the consent records are kept for the period the law requires.
